This week, our Comms Crew has been working hard to grow partnerships, curate beautiful work and share stories. Here is a look at what the team has achieved across the Trust.
Growing Our Adult Crew and Partnerships
Andy has facilitated the Outdoor Staff Induction to ground our educators in our core values, while Julie hosted five inspired visitors from a school in Hayes and supported a highly purposeful Performance DLC meeting. Looking outward, Geoff worked closely with Stuart Longley and Laura Godley at Carcroft to strategically plan community growth.
Curating Beautiful Work
Chris was a powerhouse of physical curation, designing and installing the Plover Corridor Expedition Boards, window etches, and EYFS outdoor learning boards, alongside procuring a new large-format printer for XP. Ricky completely refreshed our spaces by removing old displays to install Spanish ‘Wanted/Se Busca!’ posters and Student Showcase visual assets at XPD, while Grace prepped new work for Plover and crafted a ‘Toby’s Law’ display for XP. ounded by Models of Excellence that inspire them to do their best work.
Sharing Stories of Impact
Geoff coordinated a major press release to be shared by the Newcastle Hospitals Charity Trust, edited the highlight video from last year’s Outward Bound, and began a promotional video for our milestone ten-year book. Ricky provided vital consultancy for XPG’s profound ‘Being Human’ hospital display, while Grace fixed illustrations for the Jorvik book to get it ready for print and sorted 10-year books for those who have bought a copy and donated to charity!
