Our Comms Crew has had another brilliant week making our community’s hard work visible. Here is a look at what we have been up to across the Trust…

Growing Our Adult Crew and Foundations

Julie has implemented the new XPU Trust Wide Professional Development Dashboard and updated the Governance basecamp for each DLC, while also supporting an Independent Review Panel and coordinating logistics for the upcoming Jeff Tech High visit to Barcelona. Working alongside her to secure our operational foundations, Chris and Ricky have been deep in JTH planning, with Chris preparing Outdoor Staff Induction print collateral and updating Safeguarding Protocols.

Curating Beautiful Work and Legacy

Chris has been leading extensive curation design, from Corridor Expedition Boards at Plover to Spanish Learning Booklets and EYFS Outdoor Learning boards across the Trust. Grace has been meticulously curating our physical spaces by finalising the Toby’s Law legacy display, creating descriptive plaques for our graffiti canvases, and preparing Being Human displays, while Ricky is driving the marketing assets for our milestone 10 Year Book and being a part of vital discussions around Digital Portfolios.

Sharing Stories and Championing Activism

Geoff has been driving our community connections this week, securing a press release in the Doncaster Free Press about Plover’s RSPCA partnership, meeting with Frenchgate to discuss future projects, and capturing the story of our new ‘Careers’ direction alongside the Edufuturists and Agora School. To amplify student and alumni voices, Geoff and Ricky have worked together with ‘Catchbox’ to ensure XP Gateshead and Carcroft have their own to use in Community Meetings – while Grace has been conducting alumni interviews and designing the next Alumni spotlight poster.
