We have had such a lovely morning at St Nicholas Church today. The children have been practicing their poems and words for weeks. I was extremely proud of them throughout the service.
The children carried their food donations down to the church which are to be used by the food bank to distribute back amongst the Thorne and Moorends community.
The key stage 1 and 2 children all sang some beautiful harvest classics that sounded fantastic in the church.
We even had members of the food bank present throughout and he gave the children a huge thank you at the end. It was lovely to hear how the work we do at Green Top is seen by members of the community. We are proud that our children are activists in the local area and can be seen to be making a difference. It makes us very proud to see how the children are having an impact in the world!
